Dungannon Park Lake, Linen Green, Windmill Wood
Push off from the Park Pavilion past the kids play park on your right. Straight ahead will bring you to Moygashel gates where Route 95 enters the park. Take a left and prepare to pant your way up Nunnery Hill, admire a splendid view over the park and brace yourself for a series of steep downhill sections. Take a right below for the Linen Green Complex, an award-winning "boutique" shopping complex, or left back on tarmac toward the lake, dam and waterfall. Best to dismount here, as the hill rising up to the lake is quite severe.
Cross through the car park to join the second leg of the trail alongside the park's playing fields. A nice winding downhill section takes you to the far side, past the playpark to the finish where you can park up and explore the wonderful waymarked walks.
Dungannon Park is well signposted and accessible. From junction 15 on the M1 take the A29 in direction of Dungannon. Continue straight ahead until the second set of traffic lights. Here, turn left, signposted Dungannon Park.
