Description

The Coast to Coast Challenge runs from Belfast at the Irish Sea right across to Ballyshannon at the Atlantic Ocean! From the East to the West coast of Northern Ireland it was the first fully signposted coast to coast route. It passes through the counties of Antrim, Armagh, Tyrone, Fermanagh and Donegal, with fantastic views of the Sperrin Mountains and the sandy beaches of Donegal. Below is an itinerary for cycling it in either 4 or 8 days.

How To Get There
By rail, there are stations at Belfast, Lisburn and Portadown and Dublin Connolly all close to the route. Express services by ulsterbus run from Belfast to Armagh, Dungannon, Omagh and Enniskillen. Bus Eirann operates from Enniskillen to Ballyshannon.
