The Lagan and Lough Cycle Way offers a total of 21 miles of flat, traffic-free, and scenic paths. If you are taking kids its easy to cycle just a section on the route.
This quiet yet scenic route runs on a path along the old canal, running from Newry Town Hall to the Bann Bridge in Portadown, it runs mostly flat therefore it is not a tough cycle and suitable for all ages.
3. Giant's Causeway to Bushmills
This 2 mile traffic free path offers a great opportunity for families with children to capture the spectacular views off the coast along a traffic free path. Path can be rough in places with steep sections.
Visit the National Trust property and also explore the forest area on the trail through the forest. Part of the Kingfisher and North West Trail.
A short 5km stretch especially designed for cyclists and walkers, with seating along the route for scenic places to rest those little legs!
