SAVE approx 50% on a brand new bicycle......with the Government's Cycle to Work Scheme |
The recently introduced 'Cycle to Work Scheme' by the Department for Transport allows employees to purchase a new bicycle (of their choice) through their employer. The cycle should be used to get (fully or partially) to and from work and is tax exempt. This means that a brand new bicycle can be yours with savings of up to 50%! If you own a bike and want to cycle part of the way to work why not get a bike rack? You can buy one from only £50! Alternatively you could purchase a folding bike, which would fit in your boot or back seat. These are available from around £400. This will give you the freedom of parking out of town (so you save money) and cycling into work (so you save time) –just imagine –no traffic queues!!
