Code of Conduct
With rights come responsibilities and Cycle Northern Ireland encourages all cyclists to observe the rules and etiquette set out by the following organizations:
The Highway Code for Cyclists (Department for Transport)
Mountain Biking Code of Conduct (NI Mountain Biking)
Cyclists' Touring Club Code of Conduct
Sustrans Code of Conduct for Cyclists
Remember - its been a legal requirement for cyclists to have a bell on their bikes since 2004
Cycle
Northern Ireland is a joint marketing initiative between Sustrans and The
Countryside Access & Activities Network. The project is kindly supported
by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board, Environment & Heritage Service,
Health Promotion Agency, and DRD Roads Service.
