Mostly flat and quiet rural roads.

Visible from the road at Glenstall is an earthen mound. it is the remains of an early fort surrounded by a labyrinth of defensive ditches.

At Monanagher, in 1615 the London Mercers' company managed the ford, fishery and surrounding farmland and built a fortified bawn.

No ruins exist of the ancient church at the beatiful Vow Graveyard, although burials have continued here to this day.

The linen mill at Balnamore was one of the largest outside Belfast. It closed in 1959.

These sites are on private land and can only be accessed with the owners prior permission.

Starting at Drumaheglis Marina turn right onto Glenstall Road and continue to end of the road. Turn left onto Bann Road and immediately right onto Vow Road. After passing the Anglers Rest pub / restaurant, the Movanagher Fish Farm is a few hundred yards further on the right hand side. Continue on Vow Road and then turn left onto Bendooragh Road. Continue along this road to Bendooragh village. Go straight over the cross roads onto Drumahiskey Road and into Balnamore village and continue on. Turn right into Glenstall road and continue on to the entrance of Drumaheglis marina.

Drumaheglis Marina is signposted from Ballymoney town off the B66 Bann Road.

Mostly quiet roads with traffic heavier towards Balnamore village.

Drumaheglis marina, the starting and finishing point of this cycle route offers fully accessible toilet facilities, a small shop, camping, picnic areas and play area.
The Anglers Rest is available on the Vow Road for refreshments/comfort stop and there is Sketchers coffee shop in Bendooragh village and a small shop in Balnamore village.
Movanagher Fish Farm, producing 1 million brown and rainbow trout each year, welcomes visitors by prior appointment. Tel. 028 295 40533.
